Tethered SoulsTethered Souls by Beth Flynn

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finished reading (ARC) a couple days ago and had to figure out how to do the book justice without giving away the stories. All I can say is - sit back and enjoy the ride. If you’ve read the other books in the series, then this will be like visiting good ol friends.
Mimi and Christian story, tethered souls. First off you should read the Nine Minutes trilogy and Iron Tiara before you read this book. There are so many characters popping up from those books. You almost need a reference guide to keep track of who’s who and who did what to who. Loved how we get to see more of Grizz and Ginny. As well as Antony Bear, Christy. And Slade.
Mimi is finishing up her last year of college in South Carolina. Christian still in Florida was just finishing up time served in prison, this was 2007. Five years earlier they were saying goodbye and Mimi promised Christian it wouldn’t be the last time they spoke and that she’d keep in touch when she could. 5 years and not a word from Mimi, Christian decided to take matters into his own hands. Remind Mimi about her promise and make her remember what she left behind all those years ago.
This is the main story, the struggle and reconnection of Mimi and Christian. The journey they go on to find their way back together. Along this journey to reconnecting we run into some familiar faces, that have back stories we need to explore. Slade and Bevin, Blue and Jodi, The Ghost.
I didn’t want to give all away with my review and I hope I expressed well enough what a good read this book was. I found myself having to remember not to compare so much to the other books by Beth. Remember Mimi and Christian (thankfully) are different than their parents and their story had to be different. I enjoyed reading their sweeter love story. It didn’t have the intense grit of Nine Minutes or even Iron Tiara. But because of those books and characters associated with them, if you loved the books. Well you were bound to read this one. This one like the other books of Beth Flynn left me wanting more!!

Black LiesBlack Lies by Alessandra Torre

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Really enjoyed this book. Not a big fan of 2 timing characters in books unless they are all open to "sharing". So I was skeptical about reading this book. Heroine was in love with 2 men! And she made no bones about it. So I went in reading with caution. Well the more I read the better it got. I fell in love with 2 men right along with her. Don't want to give away anything, just let readers know it really is a good read, won't disappoint in the bedroom or lack in sexiness.

Soaring (Magdalene, #2)Soaring by Kristen Ashley

My rating: 1 of 5 stars

worst K.A. book

Not sure why but I did not connect with the heroine or the jackass alpha male in this book. Usually in LOVE with all books Kristen Ashley and I was surprised that I didn't with Soaring. Let me start with the "Mickey" which by the way I hated his name would have preferred Michael. He was a total and complete jerk and most of K.A.'s are jerks but you usually find some reframing quality about them that you love. Nope not here. He was fine with his kids but for the most part he was a jerk to "Amy" I also hated that he called Amelia "Amy". As for Amelia well I felt that she was very one dimensional the same could be said for "Mickey" as well. The first book in this series was better but I won't read the 3rd book or reread this book. Will have to go back to Colorado Mountain series. These guys were jerks but their shells cracked and redeeming qualities that kept me reading and engaged came out. In this book I thought Mickey was a total assz

Beautiful Disaster (Beautiful, #1)Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Travis "Maddog" Maddox the sexy man you love him and hate him. This book it seems is not everyones cup of tea. But I loved the story of Abby and Travis. Loved the story of how they met and fell in love. How it shows the faults of people and how they can learn and overcome their personal demons and work to be better. I love how Travis is a flawed man and he's passionate. I felt the joy of love and sadness of heart break. This book was written to draw the readers in to fell exactly what the characters were feeling and I came away loving Abby and Travis.

Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1)Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Cat and Bones, this is where it all began. Cat is your strong willed and minded heroines. She's a bit of a loner with a guilt complex because her mother will never let her live down the fact that her father is a vampire. That her Mom says raped her and Cat is the result of that and this is her long journey into becoming the feared "ripper". Until she meets her match. BONES, the sexy, leathal vampire that will stop at nothing to win Cats heart. This unlikly duo start off on the wrong foot and can't seem to get it right. We go through the book wanting Cat to get her man and see Bones for the man he really is, not the vampire she can't see past.

Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1)Dark Lover by J.R. Ward

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love, Love, Love, WRATH!!! King of the Black Dagger Brotherhood and is ALL Vampire!!
Wrath is the biggest, baddest Vampire around and wasn't looking for love of any one or any women, until Beth comes into his life. One thing that I really enjoyed about this vampire series is that the vampire "marks" their mate with their own scent! Thought it was very cool and extremely erotic as well. This book is a really great mix of or action, romance, sex and vampire! Wrath has become one of my favorite Vampires

Outlander (Outlander #1)Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I found this statement written about this book and series and it has stuck with me since I first read The Outlander, 5 years ago. "So how do you classify a series of books that centers around the lives of a time-traveling WWII nurse and the man she loves, an 18th century Highlander? The answer is simple. You don't. You simply enjoy them for what they are and pass the addiction along to friends." This is so true, so pick up a copy and enjoy your journey with Jamie and Clair!

A Gift of Time (Nine Minutes, #3)A Gift of Time by Beth Flynn

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was torn. First off I have to admit I didn't enjoy this book as much as the others. I think because I am torn between two men!
The first part of the book was a tad bit confusing, I had to go back and forth to reread and keep track of what was happening. A lot going on in the book. The second part of the book was easier to follow.
This was a conclusion to an amazing trilogy. Beth took these characters and made them come alive. You rooted for them, hated them, loved them, and mourned them. The books fed all of your senses and then some, this book was no different. I don't want to give away anything and ruin the book.
All the characters you know and love are here and some you didn't know about are here too. Read and fall in love all over again.

Nine Minutes (Nine Minutes, #1)Nine Minutes by Beth Flynn

don't put the book down

Loved the book and was blown away with the happenings of it. The heroine kept you intrigued and connected while the plot thickened and twisted with the men in her life. It was hear wrenching and a mindf@@k. Can not wait for book 2!

The Iron TiaraThe Iron Tiara by Beth Flynn

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Beth did it again! I couldn't wait to read the story of Anthony Bear and Christy. First off you can be sure to expect the unexpected with Beth. Her plots twists and turns are wonderfully yummy. This story is not your typical love story, lets get that out right now. Next imo you MUST read (because its great) the Nine Minutes (trilogy). Here you get your first into to the couple Anthony & Christy who are the featured characters of Iron Tiara. Last this book is not for the faint of heart. These are lawless MC men we are dealing with and Bear (ALPHA) is NO exception! He's ruthless and makes no apologies for it.
I don't want to give the whole story away but will go over briefly who we are dealing with in the book.
Anthony starts off hating Christy but quickly changes his tune once he sees she is not what he thought her to be. We are taken through flashbacks and the growing relationship of Bear and Christy. Ending with wanting more as we see another growing relationship taking place.
